PLAY INCUBATION COLLECTIVE LETTER OF AGREEMENT FOR PIC LITERARY COMMITTEE MEMBERS

This is a letter of agreement between Play Incubation Collective (PIC) and the individuals serving on the PIC Literary Committee for 2025-26, hereby known as COMMITTEE MEMBER. Please read the agreement below and sign your consent. Upon singing, you will be redirected to a document containing the language in this agreement to download and keep for your records.

COMMITTEE MEMBER is considered hired as an independent contractor upon the signing of this document.

Services Provided. COMMITTEE MEMBER agrees to act as part of the Literary Committee in service of determining play selections for the 2026 season.

 

COMMITTEE MEMBER agrees to:

  1. Assess the submitted reviews, along with fellow committee members and divide the recommended scripts amongst members with the goal of each script under consideration receiving a final read by a committee member.

  2. Attend Committee meeting to discuss the options and make recommendations for the season selections with an eye toward PIC’s organizational goals of presenting works that have the potential to spark community conversation. 

  3. Aim to ensure the selections demonstrate a wide array of perspectives, experiences, writing-levels, topics, and styles. 

  4. Determine recommendation by September 30, 2025.

Compensation. 

Each COMMITTEE MEMBER will receive a stipend of $150 for completion of review process.
