For Actors and other Theater Artists

THE COLLECTIVE

At PIC we believe every voice in the room deserves to be heard, and every theater artist can be a maker. We aim to empower theater artists of all disciplines to serve as active participants in the play creation process. Because we are still in the early stages of growth, we have an exciting opportunity to build a new type of theater experience- one where all artists feel valued as collaborators. PIC isn't just a space for playwrights to develop their work, it's also a community of localized artists that come together in support of one another to impact the landscape of theater-making.

We welcome actors, dramaturgs, directors, stage managers, designers, and multi-disciplinary artists to serve as collaborators in the work we do. In addition to artistic contributions, all collaborating artist serve as co-op members on a per-project basis. Rather than having a staff, PIC is self-run by our artist community. Our 2022 goal is to ensure that all artist/admins are paid a LIVING WAGE for all project contributions. Have questions? Reach out to learn more!
